District Attorney District Attorney Peter J. Skandalakis is an elected state officer whose duty is to prosecute persons accused of any felony crime committed in the five counties of the Coweta Judicial Circuit. The Coweta Judicial Circuit is located in the northwestern part of Georgia and is comprised of Carroll, Coweta, Heard, Meriwether and Troup Counties.
Emergency Management The mission of the Troup County Emergency Management Agency is to prepare for, respond to, and recover from a host of potential hazards and threats, natural and manmade, that may affect the citizens of Troup County.
Fire Department: The mission of the Troup County Fire Dept. is to provide a wide range of services designed to protect the lives and property of the citizen and visitors of Troup County, by providing prompt and professional service in the event of a fire, medical emergencies, rescue emergencies, and natural disasters which may threaten the public welfare, both emergency and non- emergency.
Sheriff's Department The Marshal's Office serves the area within the boundaries of Troup County, Georgia with a land mass of 415 square miles and population of 70,000. There are currently four divisions in the Marshals office: Service, County Code Enforcement, Court Services and Animal Control. The administrative offices are located in the Government Building at 100 Ridley Avenue, Room 1900.

LaGrange Art Museum Founded in 1963 as the LaGrange Art Museum, the Museum serves as a small, vibrant visual arts resource for West Georgia and East Alabama. The Museum is housed in the former Troup County Jail, built in 1892. The Victorian building was completely renovated in 1978 with contemporary galleries, offices, an arts library and classrooms.

FDR's Pools & Warm Springs Museum Located a mile and a fourth from the Little White House these pools were built by FDR and used for polio treatments from 1927 until 1942. They were restored and the museum was added in 1997 by the Georgia Dept. of Natural Resources. The exhibits and displays chronicle the history of springs, their geology and the industries that grew up around them.
Roosevelt's Little White House Visitors will see his original furnishing, including a wheelchair FDR designed himself using a kitchen chair. Roosevelt loved the sea and decorated with a nautical theme that includes model ships and a unique door knocker.
